Here we present SkewedS' Christmas release Cheesy Of course, our beloved HurricaneBlue is in it along with those AVEX girls. This is a relatively old song and don't be surprised if you can't find Aki and Aya of SweetS in this like takenoko-sama did Tongue (It was during that time that they went on leave for high school entrance exams) This PV also served as practice vid for karaoke making by GekiDan-dono :3

This was a nice song, and all the girls are in plain clothing instead of skimpy outfits which is a nice change. Kudo's to Gekidan on the karaoke enjoyed the little snow effects on the bottom of the words as well as how the word's just fell off after they were cycled through.

Why couldn't we have done the other one which has the full SweetS members? Tongue

Still cool release. Thanks for subbing this! Good job on your starting karaoke

Glad you liked it. Grin

Here are 5 Trailers/Teasers/CMs of movies in which most of them we will most likely do Tongue

First off - 20th Century Boys Final Chapter. The last of the trilogy movies in which we won't do Tongue The first two movies have already been licensed with English Subs. And as I remember, all three movies have been licensed in America and will soon be released Cheesy

Next up - BECK Live Action. It is one of those mangas that I, zeldAIS, read from start to the end. You must have also watched or heard the anime of this. It is bonus that the cast of MCS band members are quite known - Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kamen Rider Den-O, (which both you can download at TV-Nihon), the guy in that one episode of Shinigami no Ballad, (which you can download here), Hiratsuka of ROOKIES, (which you can download the series here), and also the guy who acted in various JDramas like Honey and Clover (which you can download from SARS-Fansubs)

I'm actually very excited about this incarnation because the director's works are quite faithful to the original mangas it was based (H2, 20th Century Boys Trilogy, IWGP, Trick Series to name a few). And darn, I can't wait to see the busted guitar with gunshot holes, Lucille!

Third up - Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva. The game is really very very popular among my friends (specifically my Antartican friends Tongue) and it's a common joke for us that everything is a puzzle. Like for instance, we were locked outside of a house as we can't open the door. Then somebody will try to open the door - someone will exclaim "Wait! This looks like a puzzle!" XD

Fourth - Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo 2010. This is the 2min longer trailer compared to the teaser and reveals more of the story of the movie compared to the last time. It even has a message to the original novel writer of the story.

And finally - ROOKIES -Sotsugyou-. It's ROOKIES finale movie which topped last year's movie list in Japan - 'nuff said. Read carefully what's written towards the end. Yeah, expect the movie itself darn soon from us. Cheesy

I REALLY REALLY want to see TokiKake. I didn't realize until now that the main character is the same actor who voiced Makoto (the main character in the anime). I really recommend the anime, by the way. I found it on Netflix, so it shouldn't be too hard to come by.

^ TokiKake Anime is the win - 'nuff said Grin And yeah, I also was wow'd when I saw that it's the same actress. Very much looking forward to the movie (and hopefully, there are Japanese Subs in the DVD XD)

Here is the live performance subbed of the same artist who sang very good songs in various series including Samurai 7, Inuyasha, Kamen Rider Blade, Madan Senki Ryukendo, Kamen Rider Kiva (movie) and Keitai Sousakan 7.

Observe carefully where she sang wrong Tongue

Is it supposed to get all staticy sounding as soon as Aikawa starts the song? Also it seems as if the typing isn't matching quite well to what she's actually saying at the time.

If you were following our plurk microblog, you'll notice that I, zeldAIS, mentioned that I translated, timed, typesetted a karaoke in one sitting before encoding it to QC. Here is that PV - Kondo Natsuko's Rehearsal - which is the last ending song of the Cross Game anime. I don't know if it's only me but Cross Game is one of the underrated anime during its run, and yes, I'm a bit biased about it *gets shot*

Anyway, Cross Game anime is actually an incarnation of a manga series that recently ended from one of my favorite mangakas - Adachi Mitsuru. I tend to recommend it to many of my friends but they usually say - "I don't like to watch a sports / baseball series" - to my dismay Tongue Well, yes, you can categorize it as a baseball series but it's not really all about that. It has great elements about slice of life themes, school life, growing up and romance that you can't really say it's all about baseball. The manga itself is praised internationally by reviewers. I remember honestly got tearjerky at episode 1 already ;A;

It is probably also the first manga to be licensed in America from Adachi Mitsuru since his oneshot stories. (Well, I don't blame why Adachi Mitsuru is underrated by the "normal" consumers because his art is probably too simple to most tastes of people Tongue)

If you are into JDramas/Jmovies and more into those JDrama/JMovies feel like stories (aka slice of life) and happen to also Adachi Mitsuru manga reincarnations like H2, Touch and Rough and was looking for an anime to start or watch - this is for you :3

With the anime ending this coming Sunday, I thought I give this somewhat a tribute and recommendation/pimping to the great series that's about to end. The episode last Sunday honestly was stressful to watch as it was very exciting and I enjoyed it a lot XD If you would watch the series subbed, I personally recommend the fansubs from Minor Ja Nai & GekkoState joint. (We're not related with Minor Ja Nai nor Gekkostate fansubs, I'm just recommending the fansub group subbing it, okay? Tongue)

Enough babbling as this is now getting long with my spazzes XD So just have fun with this great song! Be sure to check out Cross Game :3

PS: Also posting this to JPopSuki for JMusic fans, hope it's alright ^_^V And also, Kondo Natsuko somewhat reminds me of Younha and it looks like I'll be following her works Tongue

For those readers who have seen the 2006 Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (anime) film, the above picture should be familiar (just makes you want to scream, "ike!!!!" doesn't it?).

If you're a loyal SkewedS follower, you'll have noticed our recent release of the trailer for the upcoming 2010 live-action TokiKake movie. If you're looking forward to this movie as much as I am, you should allow our little PV release today to whet your appetite!

For those of you who don't care about the upcoming movie (which I honestly hope is NONE of you), we hope the JPop fan in you will at least enjoy this great little ikimono-gakari song. Fittingly, it's titled "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo," and it serves as the insert song for the upcoming live-action. As zeldAIS kindly pointed out to me (because I tend not to know these things XD), this song is a remake of a song from the 1983 film. Oh, the nostalgia! (NOSTALGIA. Hint, hint)

The PV features clips from the movie, and we've added some karaoke for all of you to sing along to. And I really do encourage you to sing along! LOUD! That's what the karaoke is there for!

Download Links

Side note: for those of you unfamiliar with the band ikimono-gakari (as I was before working on this PV), apparently the band name "refers to to a child who is responsible for looking after plants and animals in a Japanese elementary school." Sorta fits perfectly for the sweet, innocent feel of the song, doesn't it?

Engine Sentai Go-onger's Miu Suto/Go-onSilver debuted as a singer last February with the release of her "Harukoi (Spring Love)" Single. Yumi Sugimoto was the one who have written the song's lyrics herself. But as we all knew, this is not the first song that she sung since she already sung the "G3 Princess Rap" and "Yume no Tsubasa (Dream Wings)" while Go-onger is still running.

We at the SkewedS staff decided to make a karaoke of the song's PV, and I, GekiDan, was the one who is in-charge of it. This will be my second karaoke (after Giant Xmas). Hope you liked it!

Here is that something I, zeldAIS, plurked last week that was "released" first in public viewing at I Ai Anime 2010 held at Megamall Megatrade Hall 2 (Manila, Philippines) last weekend, July 10-11, 2010. It was used in one of the games at the first day of the event. 10 people from the audience were chosen and the contestants must not smile nor laugh while watching the video - 2 only got eliminated out of the 10 Tongue On the second day, the whole video was just shown in the big screen and the crowd watching the video LMAO'd while watching it XD

I personally was flattered when I overheard a few saying "Remember the url! Remember the url!" when these parts from the original exclusive I Ai Anime encoded video was shown. Also read some plurks here and there where they were searching at youtube this video Tongue Well, we intended to release it anyway so here it is guys Cheesy Have fun LMAOing while watching it again X3

Download Links

PS: The original JDrama this Mechaike drama was based from is Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi / One Million Stars Falling From The Sky - which explains the splash used for this release Tongue
